Gather ‘round me, everybody
Gather ‘round me while I’m lying
Feel a doozer comin’ on me
The topic will be "truth" and that’s what I’m ag’in’
If you wanna hear my fable
Then settle back and just sit tight
While I spin a fiction
Of our noble COVID fight

You've got to accentuate the positive
Eliminate the negative
And latch on to our false narrative
Ignore any data that you’ve read

We’re gonna spread COVID to the maximum
Bring testing to the minimum
Have faith, or re-election chance’s
Liable to be completely dead

To illustrate my last remark
Donald in the polls, DeSantis in the spike
What did they do when there are data they don’t like?

Man, they said
"We'd better accentuate the positive"
"Eliminate the negative"
"And latch on to our false narrative"
Ignore and data that you’ve seen, Yes!
Ignore any data that you’ve read

Ya got to spread lies up to the maximum
Bring truth down to the minimum
Have faith, or re-election chance’s
Liable to be completely dead
