Since 2012 Mitch has defied
Senate norms, and does takes pride
That Obama he did thwart
Then he packed the courts
When in power Dems should override 

With Barrett now joining SCOTUS
All citizens should be on notice
Your healthcare’s in doubt
ACA they’ll vote out
Unless we make Joe Biden POTUS

COVID strikes Blacks more, it’s true
So, in-person class they eschew
Still caught in the trap
Of the education gap
To Trump they are of no value
 
With millions in such dire need
Mitch, their loud pleas does not heed
Yet to pack the court
With Republican support
They move with deliberate speed
 
Trump stokes voter intimidation
By poll watchers at polling stations
Yet GOP stays mute
His lies, don’t refute
They must all face term expiration
 
Yes, the GOP’s shattered all norms
Our democracy Donald deforms
But if we all vote
We will stay afloat
And live through this nightmarish storm
