Texas voting bill has one aim
With zero evidence they claim
The “big lie” is true
Cancel those who vote blue
To the GOP I say “for shame”
With their bills, fair voting they block
For “purity of the ballot box”
They don’t try to hide it
Racism, they’ve denied it
On GOP Houses - a pox
Like Jim Crow before, they devote
time to stop “those unfit to vote”
from casting a vote
in-person or remote
with ways both cynical and cutthroat
While they’re at it would it not be best
To bring back the literacy test?
To keep the vote pure
Then one thing’s for sure
To pass it Trump would be hard pressed
