My shopping cart is now on-line
Barbells, some Nyquil, some wine
A larger hard drive
K-N-95’s
And toys for my COVID canine
No lipstick now, just mascara
A dressy shirt and a new pair-a
Sneakers and sweatpants
Zoom background house plants
And maybe a comfortable chair-a
Monopoly, Scrabble and Clue
Ingredients for tonight’s stew
Hand sanitizer
A room atomizer
A year of Netflix and Hulu
No new briefcase or topcoat
Just a sweatshirt and a tote
A pair of new earrings
Ear buds for Zoom hearing
‘cause my life now is mostly remote
To bake, more flour and butter
Storage to help me de-clutter
Some nice warm slippers
And my own hair clippers
While around the house I do putter
Lots more home office supplies
More yeast to help my dough rise
No more business clothes
Not more panty hose
Pants that come in just one size
Shopping’s been transformed, and how
To this truth we all can avow
We didn’t feel deprived
Without N-95s
So, that was then this is now
